Sinopsis:

Nellie Mitchell es una joven alumna de canto del profesor Pietro Cecchi. Este está realmente fascinado por el talento de la muchacha, pero su padre no está dispuesto a seguir pagando su educación musical. Cuando la madre de Nellie muere, ésta y su padre se trasladan a otra ciudad, en donde conoce a Charles Armstrong, el hijo de un barón irlandés. Ambos deciden casarse, pero pronto Nellie descubre que su destino se encuentra en el mundo de la canción.
